A New Direction to Continue Nurturing the Culture of Design

Abstract

This 41st issue of Progetto Grafico, AIAP's historic magazine, represents an important milestone in an equally important year for the Association. In 2025, AIAP celebrates its 80th anniversary.

It has been a long history, marked by significant changes for the Association, but above all for the professional and disciplinary area it has sought to represent over these eight decades. Moreover, we are talking about a broad area that is increasingly difficult to confine within the margins of what we tend to define as graphic design. In its 22 years of publication, Progetto Grafico has recorded and discussed some of the changes that have taken place in the fields of the profession and discipline. 

It has sought to investigate and explore many of them, and has in turn changed the way it addresses them several times. After a long gestation period, the Association's publication restarts as a scientific journal.
